We remember.

Today I'd like you to visit my precious friend Phil's blog.

He lost a friend in 9/11 and says it so much better than I ever could.

Ok, I just read your friend's post about the friend that he lost on 9/11 and I can't get the goose bumps to go away. I have a friend that was there that day and she struggles every year on the anniversary. Thank you for directing your readers to his post. It reminded me how blessed I am and not to take my life for granted. ~Erin

Phil is a wonderful friend and a fabulous writer. I felt the same way about his post. Thank you for reading and my best to your sweet friend.

Erin, thank you so much for your kind words. 9/11 truly is a day of personal assessment and reflection. I'm relieved that it came across in that manner.

Sher, I truly appreciate our friendship. You are the one responsible for gently coaxing me to do this. Thank you. I constantly struggle with bringing my private thoughts into the public domain, wanting to make sure I'm not exploiting someone else's grief and tragedy for my own attention.

On the contrary, Phil. Your sharing such a personal memory helps those who have difficulty articulating their feelings about a shared pain.

Much love.
